The G-max test measures the impact attenuation and is the preferred test of sports organizations and local governments. It is widely regarded as the most accurate measurement to determine risk, in relation to head trauma, on a given playing surface.

Force Reduction
The Force Reduction test measures the impact attenuation of artificial grass surfaces as it relates to the spring and shock absorption nature of a playing surface.

The Ball Roll test measures how quickly a ball slows as it rolls across a sports surface. It is most common for soccer, field hockey, and lacrosse surfaces.

HIC (Head Injury Criterion
The Head Injury Criterion test (HIC) measures the likelihood of a head injury. The test measures the force of a human head when striking a playing surface.
